RECYCLING AND TRASH
Recycling is mandated according to state and local laws.
Each tenant is required to recycle trash. There are two (2) options available to each tenant:
Continuing with the following protocol, which is separating the recyclables (with the addition of another container for plastic, cans, and glass). Therefore, each store will complete the following:
Separate Recyclable as follows:
Corrugated Paper: All cardboard boxes must be broken down flat and placed with your trash for pick up. Absolutely no trash is to be placed in any cardboard boxes. Only cardboard boxes that are free of food contaminants may be recycled.
High Grade Office Paper: This includes any bond, copier, letterhead, or computer paper, newspapers and magazines. This paper will be collected on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. Remember paper recycling is mandated by Upper Merion Township.
Cans, Bottles and Glass: Place all cans, bottles and glass in a container (1) one container. This container will be collected on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week.
Please mark each bag RECYCLING.
Mall Management has added a commingled recycling compactor at the property. The following recyclables can be placed in one (1) container to be recycled: cardboard, plastic, glass, office paper and cans. Container must be marked RECYCLING.
All other trash (with food waste) must be placed in a separate container.
It is the responsibility of each store manager to make sure that their employees are following the protocol.
GLASS
Have all glass trash placed in boxes and clearly marked as GLASS TRASH to keep all employees safe.
REMOVAL OF BULK ITEMS, FIXTURES
Removal of bulk items such as fixtures, shelving, wood pallets, etc., is at the sole responsibility of the tenants. Therefore, individual arrangements must be made by the tenant to take care of these items. Tenants can call 1.800.GOT.JUNK to have fixtures and bulk items removed.
VIOLATION of this policy will result in a $150 service fee plus 15% administrative charge.
