You shop, eat and practically live at King of Prussia Mall; so why not let us be the place for your next get-together?

With so many special occasions and holidays coming on the heels of a long, dreary winter, you're probably overwhelmed by the thought of all the planning, preparing, cooking and serving you'll have to do in the months ahead. (Let's face it, even a Martha Stewart wanna-be has her limits.) Ease the stress by letting your preferred shopping spot, King of Prussia Mall, also be your go-to place for anything and everything celebratory - be it an intimate dinner party for 10, cocktails for 40 or a lively gathering with family and friends. After all, spring is the season for Easter, Mother's Day, graduations, showers and rehearsal dinners. You should be thinking fun, special and memorable, not wearily combing the aisles at Whole Foods searching for a vegan alternative to ham for your Uncle Stan.

How to get in the festive mood? Next time you hit the mall, take a closer look at the restaurants, and prepare to be blown away. Play the consummate hostess in a stylish space flanked by a cozy fireplace, sit with your guests along a banquette in view of a contemporary open kitchen or show off the family photos on the big screen in a clubby, private dining room. Plus, you've got carte blanche to create a menu that fits your budget, style and mood. While there are 17 restaurants within both the Plaza and the Court, Legal Seafoods, Bertolini's Authentic Trattoria, Morton's The Steakhouse, and California Cafe are legendary for hosting get-togethers and intimate soirees. Read on for the scoop on each, say yes, and wrap up those nitty-gritty details (like pasta for Uncle Stan) in the time it takes for a latte break. It's that easy. Now sit back, put your feet up and be what everyone else in your party is - a guest.

LEGAL SEAFOODS: If you're craving a New England style clambake or want the freshest-off-the boat fish, here's your happy place. Known for decades for its famous creamy clam chowder (served at Ronald Reagan's and subsequent presidential inaugurations), Legal's can casually hold an extended family of up to 20 in the main dining room, or let you be the host in their private party room. The party room is available at no additional charge, has its own wait staff entrance, mod wall fireplace and an upscale, contemporary decor. Peruse one of seven menus (starting at $25 per person for three courses) and add your own touches. Wow your guests with what you can't replicate at home, such as a tower of fresh oysters, clams, chilled lobster and jumbo shrimp; and luscious Boston Cream pie, prepared by the in-house pastry chef. Or if you're feeling like a home-cooked meal without the cooking, have a look at their takeout catering menu, featuring chilled lobster tails, New England chowder and North Atlantic smoked salmon. Plate it on your pretty serving pieces and call it your own (wink, wink). Hey, we'll never tell.

BERTOLINI'S AUTHENTIC TRATTORIA: What you'll love: The menu - with its sophisticated brick oven-fired pizzas, homemade pastas, freshly-made mozzarella and award-winning tiramisu make even the pickiest of eaters ask for more. What will dazzle you: You can sit down with the executive chef and talk about creating your own three-course meal. Tailor it to your taste with house specialties and off-menu suggestions, decide whether you want family style or individual plates and reserve the airy semi-private space with window views for as little as $17 per person (includes three courses and beverages). The clincher? There's an adorable outdoor patio surrounded by leafy plants, where you and your guests can sip on Peach Bellinis or homemade Italian sodas (a refreshing concoction of sparkling water, flavored syrup and heavy cream over ice) before your festive meal. Should you have a smaller group, the main dining room can comfortably seat a table of 18, where kids will clamor for the Classic Pepperoni paper-thin pizzas, while you and the other grown-ups can sample such menu staples as Chicken Scaloppine and Gnocchi Rosamarino, then top it off with house-made gelato, the ultimate crowd-pleaser.

MORTON'S THE STEAKHOUSE: The rich mahogany furnishings, white linens and hushed atmosphere just ooze "special," making it the classic setting for a business meeting or milestone, like an anniversary, rehearsal dinner or thank you treat for Mom. It's only fitting then, that their exclusive, free-of-charge Boardroom is primed for memorable affairs, whether you're proposing a big idea to 10 clients or bringing down the house with 60 of your family and friends. For small affairs, order a la carte; a bigger bash calls for one of the preset menus (ranging from $87-$129, including four courses, gratuity and taxes) that highlight their greatest hits. Indulge in the signature Morton's salad with bleu cheese dressing, chopped egg and anchovies; a juicy prime rib eye steak; colossal shrimp; creamed spinach and smooth New York cheesecake. If your party plans include roasting the birthday boy or toasting the happy couple, there's also a big screen available to show off videos and photos of the honorees (also handy for PowerPoint presentations). And who needs to drive into Philly? This Morton's has its own parking lot, a private, canopied entrance and complimentary valet parking on weekends.

CALIFORNIA CAFE: Take the West Coast mentality, add contemporary, freshly flavored, Asian-influenced cuisine, mix in a well-rounded Napa and Sonoma wine list, and add a choice of reserved spaces - you've got the exact recipe for an elegantly chic celebration. Sit with your guests on cushy, semi-circle banquettes (which can be arranged for a group of sixty) in view of the soaring open kitchen, where the chef uses only the most seasonal ingredients culled from local farms. Or ask to be served in the airy, secluded Napa Room, a must for showers, luncheons, or dinners for 30 seated guests. There are preset menus (starting at $25), but they are only a jumping-off point - work with the top brass to help bring your vision to life, reflecting your tastes and what's in season, while infusing menu standbys such as savory portobello mushroom soup, pizza margharita, Asian spring rolls, ahi tuna, vegetable napoleon, as well as child-approved mac and cheese (kids are welcome to have a famous Bento Box too). Want to really get the party going? Order a round of Native Blues, a delicious mix of a Main Line libation, Bluecoat Gin and organic mint. Going local has never tasted so good.
